IBPS SO exam take place in 3 stages i.e. Prelims, Mains & Interview. All these three stages are important to clear the IBPS SO Exam.

The exam is conducted for six different posts and the pattern of all these IBPS SO posts also varies.

Difficulty Level of IBPS SO Reasoning Section

If you didn’t practice well in this section, then it will be the toughest one for you. It is the trickiest section in IBPS SO Exam. Questions asked in this section are tricky and lengthy that consumes more time.

You must have good logical and analytical skills for this section.

So, only practice is the key to reasoning. If you do practice on a regular basis on topics like Syllogism, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relation, Input Output, and Puzzles then you can score pretty well in reasoning section.

The overall difficulty level of this section is “moderate-hard”.

 

 

Difficulty Level of IBPS SO Quantitative Aptitude Section

Most of the candidates have fear in this quantitative aptitude section. Candidates say that it’s the most time-consuming section that also needs accuracy in every question.

If you got good accuracy and speed then it will be easy to score well in the quantitative aptitude section.

The sections cutoff of this section never goes too high.

Topics that need to be covered in this section to score well are – Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, Simplification, Average, Data Interpretation.

The overall difficulty of this section is “moderate-hard”.

 

 

Difficulty Level of IBPS SO Quantitative Aptitude Section

English is the common section for all the post of IBPS SO Exam. So it’s essential to get good command over the English language.

Candidates having less knowledge of English grammar feels difficulty in attempting this section as most of the questions are asked on grammatical mistakes.

But if you get the right strategy to prepare the English language section, it will be easy to score better.

The overall difficulty level of this section is “moderate”.
 

Difficulty Level of IBPS SO General Awareness Section

General Awareness is only asked in IBPS Law Officer and IBPS Rajbhasha Adhikari posts.

The syllabus of this section is really vast, and you will need to give some extra time to cover it. In this section, most questions are asked from the banking and finance.

You will have to through daily Gk updates and current affairs to master in this section.

Sectional cutoff marks for this section is usually higher.

So, the overall difficulty level of the General Awareness section is “moderate”.
